Chad and Primo thank the amazing Micheal Ghegan for setting g up this gig at Long Branch Distillery. He knows we love good spirits and here we are! Michael is a longtime friend from our Killington days when his band Fighting Gravity used to come to The Pickel Barrel. I played upstairs on the same night, met and jammed with Michael and the rest is history. (Yes, there's a great story I will tell you if you make it out!). Micheal has continued his musical career playing with Justin Timberlake, Colin Hay (Men at Work), Supertramp and Stefan Lessard of Dave Matthews fame. Chad is back at Harry's Hardware featuring the amazing Caleb Elder on the fiddle. Caleb is not only our VT state representative but a very talented fiddle player. CHB rocks at 11pm on Saturday night for Marjorie Wards Celebration of Life. Marjorie was an angel in our musical community. She was head of food and beverage at Stowe Mtn Resort and Chad had played for her for over 35 years! During this time, they had become very good friends as Marjorie was very passionate about bringing great live music to Stowe and making it affordable by putting up out of town bands or band members (Tommy, Yahuba, Steve, etc..) in her home. She was a connector and a lover of family, food, gardens, Maple Bourbon and the color pink. She will be missed by many and her legacy will surely live on. Many bands will play in these 3 days including Dave Keller, Richie Ortiz, Seth Yacavone, John Lackard, Cooie, Jim Charonko, Kind Bud and many others! All monies donated will go to Marjories family.
