Times are crazy friends and we hope this winter finds you well. My business has been turned upside down and I have had to shift gears to attempt to make a living with my music. This has been taking a course on learning how to get my music into TV and Film. It's a lengthy process and I'm learning as much what not to do as what to do. I've learned the magic of clearance (who owns the writing and publishing rights) and the magic of being a One Stop (when you own it all). I'm learning about music supervisors, show runners, directors and how they like music delivered to them and how they don't !(Don't ever send attachments!!!)
It's a ton of research and learning where my music will fit best. I'm also working on a couple of independent films and lending my music to them as well as custom creating some music for some interested parties. On that note, if you need music written for you or know some of these Music Supervisors, please let me know. This business is based on relationships and establishing trust amongst all parties. If one percent of a song is owned by some dude in Sweden and they can't find him, the song is a no go and looks bad for all parties involved. I won't bore you with all the details but some music will be coming soon in many different forms.
I've also been working on my YouTube channel : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_99tVBJrhRmDwnkZYKlYmA
It may look non descript but I've been whittling away here at my home studio where I now sit staring at the snow and my backyard to create come very cool solo versions of my songs as well as the stories behind them. Please subscribe and share it to all you know. It all helps out in the big picture.
My music is ALL available right here on the site for the first time in my career. It's still with iTunes but they take a large chunk of my money so decided to put it up on my own. Hit me up with anything you may need. We also have new Trucker hats, hoodies and beanies too. The store should be open soon but until then, message firstname.lastname@example.org and let me know what you need.
